ABOUT ME
Welcome to my website. Since teaching is my priority, I teach undergraduate Fundamentals of Management using real-world examples. Business research and consulting are of utmost interest to me as well. I am a Faculty Research Fellow for the Hibbs Center for Business and Economic Research. My MBA and Ph.D. are from the Sam M. Walton College of Business Administration at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
I organized and was past president of UT Tyler Beta Gamma Sigma Chapter. I have published and been a reviewer in several management and entrepreneurial journals and associations, including the Journal of Business & Entrepreneurship. I support and was a member of the Board of Directors, of the East Texas Symphony Orchestra. Currently, I am a board member of the Smith County Historical Society.
As a consultant, I have performed research for several economic development entities in Texas, including Tyler, Athens, Longview, Kilgore, Hillsboro, Lufkin, and Nacogdoches.
